The Porcini Gown marries structure and fluidity: a sculptural over skirt flowing into an accordion pleated skirt. Silk embroidery hand-stitched by Italian artisans highlights Suubi’s mushroom muse, each motif a subtle reminder of the brand’s commitment to renewal and craftsmanship.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is deadstock?

Deadstock refers to surplus materials or fabrics that are produced but no longer needed due to overproduction, canceled orders, or changing trends. Instead of going to waste, we repurpose these high-quality fabrics into beautiful, sustainable designs, reducing waste and promoting a circular fashion system.

What is upcycling?

Upcycling is the process of taking discarded or unused materials and transforming them into something new and valuable. At Suubi, we upcycle deadstock fabrics into our collections, breathing new life into materials that would otherwise contribute to landfill waste.

What is the LEI Progetto?

The LEI Progetto is a social initiative that supports incarcerated women at the Turin prison. Launched in 2017, it aims to empower women by offering them vocational training, resources, and opportunities for social and professional inclusion. This initiative helps reduce inequality and provides women with the tools to rebuild their lives, both inside and outside the prison walls. While not all Suubi products are made in factories that adhere to the LEI Progetto, we are proud to collaborate with those that do, ensuring that we support initiatives that empower marginalized communities.

Where are Suubi products made?
